HiLo 13 Blackjack is a European Blackjack game that allows players to enjoy a side bet. This side bet is a Hi Lo game. Since Blackjack is the main game, players will have to set a stake on the blackjack hand before being able to enjoy the side Hi Lo game. Players can set these stakes by choosing a coin size from the available sizes (1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200) with 200 credits being the maximum bet per each blackjack hand. As for the side bet, the Hi Lo game, the maximum bet is fixed at 25.
After players place their stake, they will click on deal, player will then be dealt 2 cards while the dealer will be dealt one card. If the dealer’s card is an Ace, players will be able to place another side bet that is called Insurance. Players will win that bet if the dealer hits a Blackjack. This side bet pays two to one. Players will then decide if they want to stand or hit. Players who get two identical cards will be able to split them into two hands. Players will only be able to split their hand once to produce two blackjack hands. Players will also be able to split aces and they can get more than one card after splitting the aces. All of these cards are dealt from two decks of cards.
As for the side game, the Hi Lo, players will set a side bet on the total of the 1st two cards, whether it is higher than 13, lower than 13 or exactly thirteen. Lower and higher pays one to one and 13 pays ten to one.
